Thoughtfully Made, Responsibly Run: Silly Sarah Joins the Good Business Charter
Share
We have some lovely news to share. Silly Sarah is now officially accredited by the Good Business Charter.
When we created Silly Sarah, we wanted care to be reflected in more than the toothpaste we make. It was equally important to build a company that treats its customers, employees, and the wider world with kindness, fairness and respect.
The Good Business Charter is a UK accreditation that recognises organisations committed to responsible business practices. Accredited businesses commit to ten important areas, including employee wellbeing, fair pay, fair working hours, employee representation, equality and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, ethical sourcing, prompt supplier payments and treating customers fairly.
Being a good company begins with how people are treated. We want our employees to feel valued, supported and comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns. This means creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace, caring about wellbeing, listening to employee voices and making sure everyone is treated fairly.
For our customers, it means being open about how we work, carefully considering where our products and ingredients come from and genuinely listening to the families who use our toothpaste.
These values have always been close to our hearts, and receiving this accreditation gives us a meaningful standard to carry forward. We will continue to listen, learn and look for kind and responsible ways to do things better.
We hope this gives our customers another reason to feel confident in Silly Sarah, knowing that the care behind our toothpaste extends to the way we treat people and run our company too.
Thank you for supporting Silly Sarah and for being part of everything we are building. Every order, message and kind word means more to us than you might realise.
