Meet the Founder

I have worked in the dental field for ten years across multiple specialties, with most of that time in paediatrics. I quickly learned that a little distraction can make all the difference for children. I would often give them a small stuffed animal to ease their nerves, and the clear favourite was always a little hedgehog named Sarah. By joining in and being a bit silly with Sarah, I could turn their anxious faces into big smiles.

Parents often asked, “Which toothpaste do you recommend?” The truth was, I was never completely happy with the options available. Many contained unnecessary chemicals or did not taste great, making brushing a daily battle. I wanted to create something safe, effective, and enjoyable for children to use without the usual fuss.

That is how Silly Sarah was born. A toothpaste formulated with hydroxyapatite to help strengthen teeth naturally, without fluoride, and in flavours children actually enjoy. With Sarah the Silly Hedgehog making brushing a little more fun, my hope is to make dental care a simple and stress free part of family life
